ToY StOrE

Today we watched the movie "Big". Tom Hanks is my favourite actor, and I like all movies with him. But I didn't want to write about Tom today. In movie "Big" we saw scene when he was in toy store. I would like to share today with you my friends that I was growing up in toy store :-) My parents have toy store for this day and it is their job. Many times I heard from my friends ( when I was little girl of corse) how cool I have that I can be in toy store everyday. It was like a dream for some children. For me it was something absolutely normal. I really spent a lot of time in store with my parents. I started to sell by myself and stayed alone in store when I was 15 or 14 years old. I liked commerce very much. I missed so much this store when was the Christmas Time because on this season in store is a lot of customers and we have to sell very fast. I like advise toys. I was really good in recommended articles. I knew for each group of children which toy will be the best. I felt happy when customer bought somethnig and after couple days he or she came back to store and told me that "my child loves this toy". Many customers knew me from begining because I was always there as a small girl to be woman. It is store with family tradition. This store is in same age like I am :) I always arranged articles in store and I made expositions. This store doesn't look like Toys 'u' us . It is much smaller store but this store has own spirit and like I said - tradition.

  1. Your family store looks amazing! What a wonderful account you wrote of growing up basically in a store! I have cousins who grew up in their parents' hardware store. In cases like yours and theirs the business becomes so much a part of the child's life. It makes for an interesting childhood, I'm sure. It probably helped you become so sensible and mature and gave you great insight into human nature. The fact that it was a toy store must have made it all extra special. You must miss it.
